1. Who we are
Bitflix (“we”, “us”) operates creator and cinema surfaces that let members create, publish, and watch creative work. This draft describes how we intend to handle personal data for those surfaces.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Bitflix, we may process:
- Account data (email, display name, authentication identifiers)
- Workspace / tenant membership and role
- Creative projects, uploads, prompts, and generated media metadata
- Billing and credit transaction records where payments are enabled
- Safety reports, appeals, and moderation decisions you submit or that concern you
- Ariel assistant memory you consent to store (viewable and deletable in Settings → Privacy)
- Technical logs needed to operate and secure the service
3. Why we process data
We process personal data to:
- Provide accounts, studios, playback, and creator tools
- Bill credits / memberships where enabled, and prevent fraud
- Enforce safety, child-protection, and intellectual-property processes
- Improve reliability and detect abuse
- Meet legal obligations (including India DPDP and applicable privacy laws)
4. Your rights (DPDP / GDPR-oriented)
Subject to applicable law, you should be able to access, correct, export, and request deletion of personal data we hold about you. Today, Ariel memory export and deletion are available in Settings → Privacy. Full account deletion and a complete personal-data export are launch blockers and will ship after counsel scopes retention and Sky authorizes the auth-sensitive delete path.
5. Sharing
We use infrastructure and model providers (for example hosting, storage, payment, and generation vendors) as processors. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect users from serious harm.
6. Retention
Retention periods will be finalized with counsel. Safety-critical records (for example child-safety reports) may be retained longer than ordinary account data where law requires.
7. Contact
For privacy requests after launch, use the in-product privacy controls where available, or contact the Bitflix operator channel published on the live site. Counsel will finalize the formal privacy contact address before public launch.
